Jennifer Carter is a certified meditation teacher, coach, and Social Meditation facilitator. Her diverse experience teaching English as a second language abroad and in the US led Jennifer to merge her passions for conscious communication and interpersonal connection with her long-held mindfulness practice.
In addition to a 2-year teacher training in awareness and compassion-based practices led by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, Jennifer has completed MAs in Consciousness Studies & Transpersonal Psychology at The Graduate Institute and Mindfulness Studies at Lesley University.
With a compassionate heart and an open mind, Jennifer helps individuals and groups cultivate wellbeing in relationship with themselves and others. In addition to one-on-one guidance, Jennifer offers opportunity to expand personal meditation practice into relational experience through a variety of interactive Social Meditation practices that effectively support: concentration, collective engagement, relational awareness, embodied presence, and mindful response.
In addition to these benefits, Jennifer has witnessed in herself and others how Social Meditation brings valuable insight into the interdependent nature of our shared humanity while strengthening interpersonal connection.
